Workshops and Mini-Conferences

The WPSA annual meeting not only offers the opportunity for traditional research presentations and roundtable discussions, but also a place for interested groups to schedule special events and workshops. In addition, if you are part of a research community that is interested in holding a meeting in the spring, we may be able to accommodate your group by coordinating a conference within the WPSA annual meeting. We accept proposals for these special events, workshops, and mini-conferences up through January 2027 provided space is still available, though the earlier you contact us the better. For information about these opportunities, please contact Richard Clucas, WPSA Executive Director, at [email protected].

Most of the workshops are scheduled on the day before the start of the annual meeting. Four groups have traditionally held workshops on these Wednesdays: Environmental Political Theory, Feminist Political Theory, Latina/o/x Politics, and Interpretive Methods. The mini-conferences and special events are scheduled at times throughout the conference.

If you wish to attend a workshop or mini-conference, check back at this page in early 2027 for their schedules.
